In Amritsar Bhai
Ghaniya Ji Mission Society (Regd.) was set up about six years ago on 12th
May, 1997. Its team of dedicated members with co-operation and contributions
from the well off sections are engaged in providing help and resources to
the sick and suffering individuals who are themselves unable to afford.
Complete or part expenses on essential drugs or diagnostic investigations
like ECG, X-Ray, Sonography, MRI and Surgery etc. are met by the society.
Its monthly expenditure budget now exceeds Rs. 2,70,000.
Initially only
TB patients were undertaken but with the grace of God, field workers of this
society can now be seen serving in the following medical centres:

Bhai Ghaniya Ji Mission Society Hospital:
This hospital is located at Guru Gobind Singh Nagar, TaranTaran
Road, Amritsar where standard perscriptions and medicines are availed
daily by about150-175 patients at a nominal ticket fee of Rs. 5. General
Medicine, Dental surgery, Dermatology, Orthopaedics etc. provide expert
advice to the patients. Dr. Arun Nabh (M.B.B.S.),
Dr. Manjit Singh (Bones Specialist), Dr. Harmit SIngh (Eye Specialist) and
Dr. Balwinder Pal Singh (B.D.S.) Dentist are serving here. Society's
General Secretary Principal Santokh Singh is looking after this hospital.

S. Narinder Singh Memorial Homeopathic Dispensary:
With the co-operation of National Rubbers, Verka , this
dispensary is working since last three years at Mohan Nagar, Amritsar.
Qualified & Experienced Dr. Jasbir kaur is serving at this dispensary.
During 2003-2004 nearly 3600 patients were treated here.

Free Acupressure & Suzok Centre: This center
is located at 62, East Mohan Nagar, Amritsar. With the motive of serving
humanity Bhai Mohinder Singh, Bibi Harmeet Kaur & Dr. Parminder SIngh are
serving at this centre.
